This vintage, but unappealing, guest bath was begging for a major overhaul, but the project had budget constraints and there was no ability to work beyond the original footprint of the space. Narrow and long, but very cramped, I chose to start with switching out the tub and adding a glass frameless closure to create an open bathing alcove. Reducing the overall height of the vanity and cantilevering it off the wall allowed for spatial enhancement when entering and working at the vanity. Semi-custom detailing in molding, columns, plinth blocks all in a soft warm and serene grey made for an up-to-date, fresh, and appealing bathroom. Bright white subway tiles are clean, light and fresh, accented by grey marble mosaic tile in small but subtle design. The polished chrome finish was budget appropriate and also added a shiny clean sparkle to the room.
