After purchasing a brand new condominium, it didn’t take long for the “smoke and mirrors” to disappear. Despite ample space, this master bath lacked style and function for a client with modern and high end taste. The existing marble floor was maintained given the client’s color preference for grey. I chose to create a brick patterned feature wall with charcoal ripple textured tiles. A cramped double sink with an obtrusive counter-mounted storage unit made for a very tight working area every morning and night. The frameless oversized shower helped the room breathe but cantilevering the vanity added expansive depth and openness to the room.    The custom cabinet crafted out of charcoal stained ash is a harmonious contrast to the fog color flooring. Finishes are sleek stainless steel hardware, satin nickel sconces and wall mounted “cross” nickel faucets the deep dark grey vessel sink completes the classic modern scheme.
